Excuse my ignorance but what are the pros and cons trying to fit all data in a 
single table strucure ? Put another way what is the benefit over leaving the 
table structure for all sources the way it fits best and let the core module 
take care of what to access where.

core (some python middleware)

I have a feeling this question is silly but I am always here to learn 
something.
