That's (almost) correct (even on localhost).

Add "add one line to pg_hba.conf once if needed".

One could argue that Sebastian's sequence is correct - he
was talking about *installing*, not about *using*. The line
to add is only about using GNUmed, not installing it. But,
then, one could argue that "gm-bootstrap_server" is about
using, too :-)

So, the easiest possible install sequence is:

        apt-get install gnumed-client
        apt-get install gnumed-server
        gm-bootstrap_server

which installs GNUmed client and server on a Debian machine.
With that, the technical installation is complete. The local
admin then needs to decide what the access policies are
going to be.
