I followed this link and it seemed very promising (meaning
that it listed an example of how to do something with
sql-ledger from the command line ;-)
I then remembered that LedgerSMB was considered a
(technically) "better" sql-ledger and read up a bit on that.
It looks fine as well and has even better examples. The one
problem with that would be that I couldn't easily find
Debian packages (although there's an Alioth project on it:
http://pkg-sql-ledger.alioth.debian.org/ledgersmb/)
