Is German
Drug name (INN), ATC
anywhere freely available? A table containing the above could serve as the
basis for a mapping to the German-language page of the
Klinische Pharmakologie & Pharmakoepidemiologie, Universitätsklinikum
Heidelberg
Department of Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacoepidemiology, University
Hospital of Heidelberg
http://www.dosing.de/Niere/nierelst.htm
French:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&sl=de&tl=fr&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dosing.de%2FNiere%2Fnierelst.htm
English:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dosing.de%2FNiere%2Fnierelst.htm
What the above site offers, for each of the drugs listed, is:
Qo which is fraction excreted extra-renally
Adverse effects of use in renal failure (if known)
Calculator (some drug pages, e.g. Mannitol)
References
I have contacted the site (email link) to see if they are interested to make it
easier for outside programs to link.
In the meantime I saved the drugs from the drug list page (Google translated
into French) and cleaned it up... it is not perfect e.g. some drugs with
umlauts (e.g. Acetylsalicylsäure) did not Google translate into French.
It would be fantastic --- in the presence of user internet access --- to
generate from FreeDIams (or GNUmed locale / db) a language-contextual Google
translate callout to the matching drug page (if exists) at
www.dosing.de
... I would suggest a per-user record of whether they were recorded to have
previously been passed through the dosing.de disclaimer page after which they
could be passed directly to the page of interest.
