One reason might be that both images are tailored to their
purpose:

- the live CD is specially crafted to support
        - no-hassle
        - zero-configuration
  *evaluation* of *a particular state* of GNUmed

- the Debian distribution is specially made to enable
        - highly configurable,+
        - low administrative overhead,
        - safe,
        - working,
        - continuously supported,
        - long-term
  *use* of *current and upcoming* GNUmed versions

You can't buy one car and expect it to support Roadster,
SUV, tour bus, and truck use cases.

If you install Debian there is no known errors to fix. If
there is we would like to know immediately so we can fix
