GNUmed text expansion unique per doctor. That means.

You can simply let us have your text file and we could import it during database creation. For that to work it would have to be transferred into SQL. If you have a defined format of your text file a script could be written to do the conversion.

If the need arises and special kind to text file will be imported very often an importer can be developed. However usuall you are not going to import a text file every day.

Changing content (e.g. typos) could be done from inside GNUmed.

that would defeat the individual fields for S O A P in the user interface but you could split your abbreviations or ignore the SOAP field and put everything into 'A'

See above. If you are not going to import masses every week or so it could be imported as a one time effort.

That will hardly be possible as GNUmed cannot tell which textfile on a disk to associate with which doctor in GNUmed.

However when the need arises GNUmed could gain a feature where it would be possible to import well defined (structured or formatted) text files into the database by means of a textfile to sql converter.

So in principle that format could be the autohotkey format.
