When the machine is rebooted the OS will clear out *all of*
/var/folders/rR/rRhuX5jzF8WCKfgoTie3Zk+++TQ/-Tmp-/
However, if that is desired, a hook action hanging on
"shutdown-post-GUI" can explicitely clear
/var/folders/rR/rRhuX5jzF8WCKfgoTie3Zk+++TQ/-Tmp-/gnumed/my-tmp-dir/
It cannot clear
/var/folders/rR/rRhuX5jzF8WCKfgoTie3Zk+++TQ/-Tmp-/gnumed/
because other instances may still be using that.
