Or the lab could exist both

        as a branch of the hospital

and at the same time

        as a medical diagnostic lab

which would need entries in dem.org

        Hospital ABC (category = Hospital)
        Hospital ABC Lab (type = Medical diagnostic laboratory)

and in dem.org_unit

        Hospital ABC Lab (fk to Hospital ABC)


The result would be that the clinician could, among orgs:

- browse e.g. hospitals and, on selecting a particular hospital, bring up a 
listing of that hospital's known departments or

- browse e.g. labs and directly select a lab of interest (despite that it 
happens separately to be a hospital lab)

Phone numbers (lnk_identity2comm) would need to be separately entered.
