The number of issue such as this one being raised combined
with the real vs perceived amount of work to get each one
done delays the next release more rather than less.

There is no problem per se, but each needs work. All of them
go beyond the perceived easy renaming.

This area of programming is called refactoring and has got a
community all of its own.
