Are you sure it *dis*appeared ?  Or did it rather *re*appear
elsewhere in the list relative to your encounter metadata
changes:

Note that this list is sorted chronologically.

I should not think so as

1) saving the encounter happened *before* the bug which
   caused the leftmost editor to not be saved

2) said bug happened in a logically independant part
   of the program flow


BTW, Japan is doing great things to soccer ATM :-))
