Presently the menu command
EMR > Add / edit > Measurement(s)
brings forward an input box whose completion is disruptive because:
1) it demands a responsible provider for the measurement and
2) it demands a problem to be assigned
I would suggest that
1) responsible provider be handled as follows:
(a) when the user *is* a provider, pre-populate with the user
(b) when the user is *not * a provider
when an in-praxis primary was set for this patient
--> pre-populate with the in-prxais provider
2) is harder to solve because if a patient does not yet have any problems, the
first visit will likely see the clinician opening the Notes widget and
beginning to capture some information, however a measurement cannot be created
(saved) without assigning a problem, so this enforces on the user the need to
first create and name a problem (which gets automatically closed) even before
they have necessarily decided what is going on.
Suggestions?
