I still don't know where to store, and where we would display, lists of other
doctors (other sharers or primary care, and also specialists) previously seen
by any one patient, including – for each care professional:
- oldest known contact (how long ago did the patient first see them?)
- what is the history of any referrals (to or from, and for what problem[s]) in
respect to this clinician
- when was this clinician last seen, is the patient still seeing (i.e. under
care of) this clinician and is a future appointment planned or booked or is the
relationship contingent on re-referral
- has the patient expressed a desire to not again see this clinician (or vice
versa)?
- what kind of clinician is it?
- contact information
I have been thinking this could be managed, per patient, inside their
demographic tab Social network even below the in-praxis primary doc. Here I
would envision:
- signed-out to
(this could be a colleague inside the praxis (already enlisted as user)
or, in the case of a small praxis, it could be a local colleague who uses his
or her own EMR
- care relationships
Provider name Provider type Seen since Last referral (date /
reason) Next appt status
and maybe clicking on the row of the provider would expose previous history and
allow add / edit / delete
??
