Looks like there is some progress towards wxwidgets 3.0

This is good news since the wx folks alway say wx 2.9 is stable and the Debian folks wait for version 3.0 before a new version (currently 2.8.x) gets packaged.
Strange but true.
On another note there seems to be some effort/funding to port wx to Android. This would be really cool to get GNUmed (well wxpython in this case) on Android devices.
