You managed to run one of the oldest versions ever released :-)

You are missing out on several years of bug fixes.

The problem you are seeing is that GNUmed cannot find a
writable config file:

Try creating an empty file

        /Users/AdenekanOyefeso/.gnumed/gnumed.conf

and run GNUmed again.
