I assume that means it works for persons of European and Afro-American
descent.
Specifically noted is that it does not provide a good estimate in
Chinese and has not been tested for Indo-Asians.
I suspect that a series of equations will be required.
Age wise it starts at 18, but doesn't suggest an upper age limit.
I get eGFR from the lab on 90 year olds and find it laughable that a
suggestion is made that "this person be investigated for chronic kidney
disease".
Personally I'd put an arbitrary upper cut off at 85 years.
