I now being to consider releasing 1.3 before we definitively
pin down this problem which seems quite elusive and hard to
track.  Of course, 1.3 would contain all the code developed
so far intended to help track and/or mitigate the problem.

Eventually 1.4 will contain one major change (switch to PG
9.0) which by itself helps close the margin for this (sort
of) problem to occur, I reckon.

Thoughts ?
