Can you be more specific on this ?

Does it not change the *size* of the edit area so the
expansion is there but not seen (IOW if you scroll you will
see it) ?

If so, can you make it resize by some sort of windows
resizing or some such ?

If not (IOW even with scrolling it does not show up), does
it magically appear from somewhere ?

If not - is it *actually* not being pasted into the edit
area (no scrolling, no magic showing up) ?
