Nope ... they are asking me to join the Ubuntu - Translators ... and that then makes me have to wait for some time to be able to confirm the translations, of course I can just download the .po file and send you it so you can integrate, but kind of loses the point of using launchpad for the translations ... I did all the steps, but am still waiting for these permissions. 

Seems you will have to indicate me as the lead translator, so I can approve pt-br translations ... where? I don't know :)

I have added the GNUmed development team to the Launchpad translators team.
