It shows two problems:
For one thing MacOSX cannot deal with two accelerator keys within
one button label and hence I made the [Update / Confirm] react
only to "U" as opposed to both "U" and "f".
The other problem resulted from wx 2.9 being more picky about
setting selections in list controls.
Both problems are fixed now.
