I think I can soon manage some extra time for GNUmed, and what I will like to do is

- first, get the HL7 import working on my current production machine, which is still using Mac OS 10.8.5 (not OS 9 Maverick) and which is still running GTK / Cairo / Quartz / Carbon via X11.

- second, experiment on a separate machine with

Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks / native package installs (without MacPorts or X11)

- once the above works satisfactorily, updating my production machine, and

- updating the wiki
