Alternatively, you can run this from your existing checkout directory:

  find . -path '.*/CVS/Root' -print0 | xargs -0 perl -i -p -e \
     's/:ext:anoncvs\@(cvs\.)?s/:pserver:address@hidden/'

Seemed to work for my anoncvs checkouts..
