Well, for purely local use I'd rather suggest steganographic filesystems. If 
you care, remind me and I'll add some papers to the webpage.

The files that you locally insert were always pracitcally
"un-deleteable" if you chose a high priority. But, if used
with indexing, the files are still in plaintext on your drive and
it is thus obvious for anybody who aquires control over your
computer that you are sharing those files. If you insert
content, the files can not be reconstructed without guessing the
keyword, but if the keyword is guessable & your machine is
confiscated, I do not want to be your lawyer argueing that you
had *all* pieces of the file on your drive "by chance", especially
not for larger files. 

GNUnet is not a steganographic filesystem!
