thought hard about it and decided against port knocking.  Problem is, that it 
allows an adversary to trick you into sending arbitrary traffic (presumbaly the 
knock secret) to arbitrary ports.  Even if we limited the size of the data 
packet to the strict minimum, it is still probably a bad idea since then it may 
look like we're port-scanning.  Not to mention that it looks like it would be a 
total bitch to set this up for anyone.
