Matthias Klose asked me if it would be possible to allow the
GNUSTEP_LOCAL_ROOT to be completely separated from the
GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT, ie in Debian they want to do something like -
GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT = /usr/lib/GNUstep/System/
GNUSTEP_LOCAL_ROOT = /usr/local/lib/GNUstep/Local/
Because it seems their filesystem policies do not like having the
Local root under /usr/ - they want it under /usr/local/.
Any points against this change ?
Any complicated stuff to do to make it work you are aware of ?
A different GNUSTEP_LOCAL_ROOT would be triggered by using an option
to configure gnustep-make. The weird GNUSTEP_LOCAL_ROOT would be
somewhat saved into your GNUstep.sh.
Would this change break something in the bundle code ?
