Binary files are ok as long as that's the best/native format for editing them (e.g. images).

Hi,

I don't think it is patented, but it would also require me to add a nib file. This is a binary file and AFAIK therefore a problem (for the FSF), or am I wrong?

What's the problem? Is it patented or trademarked? Other than that there shouldn't be any issues with reading or writing proprietary file formats.

Hi,
just for fun I ported ProjectCenter to Mac OS X. Now I wonder, should I commit the pbproject related files to CVS or not? What's the official position of the FSF in this respect?
