Stefan,

I believe that Mike Stump recently committed Apple's framework machinery to the FSF mainline (gcc 3.5).

Hi,

More than a half year ago there was a thread about framework support in GCC for non-OS-X platforms. Does anyone know, what is the state of it? Here are two message from the thread with some issues:

http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/gnustep-dev/2003-08/msg00023.html
http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/gnustep-dev/2003-08/msg00028.html

I'm cross posting this to the GCC mailing list and objc-language list, because there are people who maintain the Objective-C part of GCC (as Frameworks are used mainly by Objective C projects).
