Good idea. With most applications, if you install, use, and later
uninstall (move to the trash) the app, defaults/preferences are one of
the few things left after the uninstall. Think of evaluation of a bunch
of similar applications, for example.
Finding and deleting the application specific preferences file isn't
that elegant but definitely better than fiddling around in one single
defaults database with specialized tools.
