Hi,

An idea not only for the survey:

It can be great if it would be possible to use some money from the
GNstep fund (or some other source) for things like t-shirts or mugs with
the GNUstep logo + "GNUstep" label and perhaps some slogan. It can
motivate people to fill the survey form. It is just small thing, but it
is a kind of positive motivation - you fill it, you can win (and it does
not mather what you win, it is about the feeling that you win).

GNUstep can gain twice with that:

1. survey results
2. spreading of the "gnustep word" in the form of logo and name

Even if the owner of the t-shirt, mug, pen - whatever, will not use
gnustep, his frienc might be courious and try to look at "the objective
development environment".

Another thing that can be done on FOSDEM is to leave GNUstep leaflets
all over the place, at decent places, of course. Something that will let
others know, that GNUstep is there and has something to offer. The
leaflet do not have to be the official fancy ones, if there are going to
be some, but simple nice a4 laser print-outs. Purpose of the leaflets is
attraction to the booth.

Btw. what are the main GNUstep attractors in the form of slogans for the
event? What would you answer me if I ask "why I should visit the GNUstep
booth? what will i get? in what is it different to others?"

Do not forget, that there are going to be people from KDevelop and
KDE... (from what I have seen on FOSDEM 2005 page)
