Hello group,

After developing some GNUstep software on one Linux system (the development machine) where it ran flawlessly, I intended to install it on another (deployment machine) where it fails. Both machines have the latest GNUstep version from CVS, which in both cases compiled and installed without any problems.
The error I'm getting on the deployment machine is:

GNUSTEP Internal Error:
The private GNUstep function to establish the argv and environment
variables was not called.
Please report the error to address@hidden

I googled around a bit, and the only cause I could find was wrong version of objc library on the system. Not sure what to look for. The GNUstep FAQ tells me not to use the gnustep-objc library, but I couldnt find anything matching the description on either system. Only the gcc-objc package.

Here are the SUSE and gcc versions for both machines:

Development: Suse Linux 9.1, gcc 3.3.3
Deployment: Suse Linux 9.0, gcc 3.3.1

I'm a tad stuck, any pointers are greatly appreciated!
