Yes, I'm using the code on HEAD, the latest as of about 2 hours ago.

The message says "NSInternalInconsistencyException:unable to contact GDNC server - please check that the gdnc process in running. I attempted to start it at '/usr/GNUstep/System/Tools/ gdnc'."

I don't know why you should be having any problem ... but you could try running with --GNU-Debug=NSMessagePort to get debug output of the attempts to contact the gdnc process.

You could also try running under gdb and setting a breakpoint in NSTask-launch to see exactly how the daemon is being launched.
