Sounds good.   I guess, like Richard, I'm conflicted.  I know that every source 
code package I download is installed in /usr/local.  But GNUstep has used the 
/usr[/GNUstep] convention for so long it might be confusing to change that. And 
any distribution is going to set their own location anyway.
