I love most of the changes you are currently undertaking on the GNUstep
make system but there is one that really gets to my nerves. The make
processes are now complaining about GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT and
GNUSTEP_FLATTENED being obsolete. I did not define them myself, they are
set by the standard I know, I should not need to source this
file any more, but out of old habit I still like to do so.

Is there a way to turn off these warnings? I understand that you need to
set these environment variables to support old make files that might use
them. What about just warning once?
