connection.m intermittent fail

When I run the test suite, it sometimes gets stuck in connection.m.  Running it 
just now, it pegged the CPU at 100% for five minutes before I gave up and 
killed it.

Running it again to debug:

$ gnustep-tests NSConnection/connection.m 

   2 Passed tests

All OK!
$ gnustep-tests NSConnection/connection.m 

   2 Passed tests

All OK!

Any ideas what could cause this?
