Hi,perhaps. The only thing I know is that it used to work the same mingw install. I implemented utf8, latin1 and windows CP support and they all used to work, now the latter is broken.
This mingw was very "stable" so I am a bit weary to upgrade... not all mingw installs are equally lucky!
