I am attempting to port GNUstep to the yocto project (yoctoproject.org) for use
in embedded GNU/Linux systems.

Yocto provides an environment to run autotools on open source packages.

When I run gnustep-base's autotools it crashes here:

| config/objc-con-autoload.m4:1: error: AC_LANG_COMPILER: unknown language:
_AC_LANG
| ../../lib/autoconf/lang.m4:329: AC_LANG_COMPILER_REQUIRE is expanded from...

 OBJC_CON_AUTOLOAD is expanded from...

I'm pretty inexperienced w/ autotools scripts, so I'm not sure where to start.
What are the best resources for diagnosing this issue?

Thanks,
