Could you tell us if the old behaviour was broken in some specific 
application?
What could be changed, just to focus efforts?

I did a "random" functionality test on most apps I could find by 
clicking on every control I found.

NSStepper is broken: it does not work anymore.

I couldn't find other flaws up to now.
