Follow-up Comment #1:

the find panel perfors a search by delegating it to the Folder. In case of
IMAP the search is server side, thus adding CC may be more complex.

However, I have implemented that the search find will search also iN CC and
even in TO if the message is detected as List.
Being cached, this works quite well
