Not necessarily - It depends on which has been released most recently. Unstable versions have an odd second number (y in x.y.z) for releases greater than version 1.0.0. For releases less than 1.0.0, anything mod 0.0.5 is a stable release.As far as I can tell, stable has higher version numbers than unstable, right now, 1.6.0 and 0.8.5 (for stable) to 1.5.2 and 0.8.4 (for unstable) ???
