Project Status

Hi,

I would like to know if the GNUstep project is still being maintained and 
actively developed. I am primarily an iOS developer and I am curious about the 
possibility of extending the GNUstep stack to support the UIKit set of classes.

I wonder if compatibility with Apple's Cocoa and Cocoa touch are still the aim 
of GNUstep. I am willing to help the development of the project if that is 
still the case.

Any information will be of great help.
