[Gomp-discuss] CVS organization

Hi

I would prefer if we had settled on a CVS organization before I check-in 
my modifications. However, I am not familiar with the savannah setup and I
don't know what we can and what we can't do when it comes to CVS. I
would prefer if we could move the files directly on the cvsserver in
order not to loose history but I was not able to get a login-shell on
'savannah.nongnu.org'. If we can't move files around on the CVS server
then it is even more vital for us to discuss the organization before
we start committing stuff for real. Does anyone know whether or not
it is possible to get direct access to the cvsroot on the cvsserver
(at quick glance at the savannah web-pages didn't reveal it) ???

Speaking of CVS, I noticed that it is possible to setup cvs-commit 
mails on savannah. If would suggest that we use 'gomp-cvs' for this
and if no one objects to it, it will try to set it up for us.

As for the organization, I would suggest that we did the following
(note that if we can't move things around on the server then following 
this proposal implies that the history of all previous commits will 
be lost!!!):
