No I'm not using this USB converter (it's quite expensive), I simply connect the NMEA0183 output to a standard (cheap) RS485/USB converter. On the field, our embedded systems have built-in RS485 interface.

I don't have a unit right now, that's why I stopped working on this patch set, but I should receive a new one very soon.

Can you tell me a bit more about what you want to do with a PB200 and gpsd? Are you interested in having more data enabled out of the PB200?
