I figured it was probably something like that.

One of my longer-term projects is to rewrite the jsongen machinery into
less of a kluge.  It's way better than hand-hacking the C declarations for
the parser initializers, but eventually we're going to want to use it for
stuff besides AIS.  Like parsing JSON subframe reports.
