Sounds good.

I see stuff like this in syslog:

Jan 26 21:35:17 fed kernel: [16390.467525] pps pps0: new PPS source serial0
Jan 26 21:35:17 fed kernel: [16390.467595] pps pps0: source "/dev/ttyS0" added
Jan 26 21:35:17 fed kernel: pps pps0: new PPS source serial0
Jan 26 21:35:17 fed kernel: pps pps0: source "/dev/ttyS0" added
Jan 26 21:35:18 fed kernel: [16391.286265] pps pps1: new PPS source usbserial0
Jan 26 21:35:18 fed kernel: [16391.286328] pps pps1: source "/dev/ttyUSB0"
added
Jan 26 21:35:18 fed kernel: pps pps1: new PPS source usbserial0
Jan 26 21:35:18 fed kernel: pps pps1: source "/dev/ttyUSB0" added

I haven't tracked down exactly where they are coming from.
