That is not happy. It means that until we get a fix or workaround I'm
going to have to drop Mac OS X from the list of supported platforms.
I'll add an entry to the Upstream Bugs page describing the problem.

Thanks for the heads-up. The information that we've seen this over two major
versions was useful.
