Yo Eric!

I'm close to getting /dev/pps0 to work.  Not pushed yet.

I start this way:
        gpsd -n /dev/pps0 /dev/ttyAMA0

I'm getting a time from /dev/pps0, but since there is no GPS serial
data on that channel the thread_context->fixin is never set, thus
no base second for the PPS pulse.

Ideas?  Maybe a, dare I say, need for a global?
