hmm, not sure if that makes sense as the git user doesn't bother about it and
the normal debian user can read it up in the normal package description.

Sure, $prefix/share/gpsd/contrib or something like that will work fine, too. But
I'm not sure if its work the worth to install it on all machines. But thats up
to you :)
