A lot of canyons in the Northwest.  Often down in a canyon I could
get Loran but not GPS.  GPS receivers Seem to be better now, but not
perfect.

Ah. OK, and that'd make sense. Ground wave works for that sorta area.

Like Nevada and Oregon.  I get notices of GPS testing maybe monthly.
Even this far away from the test site people lose GPS up in the air.

I was actually thinking of other areas where active denial of service is "embraced" by DoD for their own security...

Flashcube?  Is that the Nevada test site?

2nd Space Operations Sqdn, Schreiver AFB, Colorado. They at least used to have a large cubical building with reflective metalized tinting and that's what some of us called it.
