Should be "GPS receivers".   Using GPS as a noun to refer to a receiver
is wrong, although very common.  I continue to think we should avoid
propagating confusion like this.

The key point for A-GPS is that the almanac and ephemeris are obtained
by some other communication channel that is faster; you probably should
say that explicitly.


Separately from the docs, it is an interesting question if any of the
common chipsets can accept A-GPS data, and if it makes sense for gpsd to
have support for fetching it from someplace and squirting it in.
