O.K. - i didn't test this option.

With
gpspipe -w -n 5
it seems i get a complete set of data.

The JSON is not better readible as NMEA itself.
I don't see the advantage of using dgps then.

But there is an advantage to open the serial interface:
I am able to send ubx commands direct to the GPS modul.
I must weigh this possibility.
