Good point.  You are undoubtedly correct.

However, I note that while UBX chips are (deservedly) very popular
with maker types designing low-cost Stratum-1-in-in-a-box devices
(like the Laureline) not one of them has yet included the T variant.

So, either the T variant is just plain difficult to lay hands on or
the maker crowd has concluded that the T isn't cost-effective.  Could
well be the latter - the vanilla UBX chips work very well indoors, much
better than SiRFs.
